"I know at least 100 hilariously derogative jokes about Lawyers. You know the one about…? Well, I confess that Jonathan Rands proved them all wrong, although I’ve never even met him in person. On this web site (www.avvo.com) is the first time that I’ve ever seen his likeness. That’s because for the last two years I’ve been working on a senior Foreign Service assignment for the US Govt. in Israel – so, believe me, you cannot even imagine how badly the record of a Washington State DUI conviction in my Confidential HR file would have wrecked my family’s life right now and forever in the hereafter!

Jonathan was referred to me by my family’s attorney in Seattle whose professional field is different. Jonathan called me at home in Jerusalem from Bellingham on Thursday 28th June, 2007 and he counseled me at length over the phone. Without any alternative actions available to save ourselves, and expecting to be gobbled up by the sharks for the privilege, my WWU-graduate daughter and I agreed instantly to follow Jonathan’s counsel in precise detail: relax, enjoy our Fourth of July celebrations as planned – and Jonathan himself would take care of everything. He then called us or E-mailed us every couple of days for about ten days thereafter and he was absolutely true to his word, excelling both our considerations concerning the original cause of our sensitive legal predicament as well as our hopeful imaginings about the likely outcomes of Whatcom County District Court’s slated case – which was settled satisfactorily before the Judge in September. What Jonathan did, and how he did it, was absolutely professional, legal, transparent, ethical… and sheer genius. My entire family is humbly grateful to have benefited so greatly as a result of Jonathan’s expertise plus the clear respect with which he is upheld by the State’s Judiciary. Finally, I must add that despite his possessing such priceless assets, plus his obviously saleable advantage over us in this case, Jonathan’s fee remained fixed and competitive.
