Washington State’s Senate passes bill requiring law enforcement officers to be honest
By Diego Vargas | February 5, 2010The Washington State Senate has just passed a bill requiring law enforcement officers to be honest in the discharge of their duties. The language of the bill can be found at the following URL: http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary.aspx?year=2010&bill=6590.
Unfortunately, law enforcement officers are not always honest. Sometimes they exagerate the truth but sometimes they tell out right lies. This is why is is important to have an attorney who is willing to conduct a proper investigation of your case. Your attorney should request copies of any and all video or audio recordings available to verify what the officer is reporting in your case.
